Donald Trump appeared to struggle on the stairs of his new Air Force One again as he returned from an embarrassing appearance at the FIFA World Cup Final.

The 80-year-old president touched down at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland on Sunday after being ruthlessly booed during the match in New Jersey before awkwardly gatecrashing Spain’s trophy lift. As he disembarked his Qatari-gifted jet, Trump had some difficulty with the stairs.

Footage captured the president walking out of the door of the aircraft before lurching to his left as he tapped his right leg once. The president then gripped the handrail of with his left hand as he began to make his way down the steps.

After three steps, Trump could be seen tapping the handrail twice before gripping it again. After another two steps, he taps the handrail again before going back to holding it.

Around a third of the way down the staircase, Trump slows and slightly pauses as he moves to grip a higher hand rail. The president had already sparked concerns for his health after appearing to struggle on the steps of air force one on multiple occasions this month.

In June, he also appeared unsteady on the steps as he touched down in France for a G7 summit. Trump has previously admitted to being deliberately cautious on the Air Force One stairs for fear of tripping over.

“I’m very careful when I walk, by the way, because if I ever fall… the fake news … they’re going to have… that headline will go on for years,” he said back in May.

“You know, sometimes like I walk out of the plane… I’m not looking to set any records. You go nice and easy,” the president added.

Trump’s latest use of his new Air Force One comes amid security concerns about the $400 million Qatari-gifted jet.

After stepping off the plane following his return from the FIFA World Cup final on Sunday, Trump was asked about its missile defense capabilities.

“It has a lot of capability but, as I understand it, in about a month or so they’re going to send it to have it be maxed out,” Trump told reporters.

“They’re going to be sending it, and they’ll have it be maxed out. It’ll take about a month,” he added.
