American rapper Travis Scott has reportedly made an on-screen appearance in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film, The Odyssey.
The cameo was highlighted in a new TV spot that aired during FOX’s NFL AFC championship game over the weekend, featuring the New England Patriots against the Denver Broncos.
Scott, who previously collaborated with Nolan on the end-credits track for Tenet titled “The Plan,” appears in a scene that seems to depict a grand banquet. This is where Odysseus’ son Telemachus (Tom Holland) visits Spartan king Menelaus (Jon Bernthal) while searching for his father.
In the sequence, Scott portrays a character who narrates Odysseus’ legendary exploits in Troy to the assembled guests. The banquet scene was initially teased in the film’s ‘year before’ teaser released last July.
So far, neither Scott nor Universal Pictures has confirmed the cameo or indicated whether he also contributed musically to the film’s soundtrack.
The star-studded cast of The Odyssey includes Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Charlize Theron, Benny Safdie, Elliot Page, John Leguizamo, Himesh Patel, Bill Irwin, Jon Bernthal, Mia Goth, and Corey Hawkins. The film is set to premiere in theaters on July 17, 2026.
